Van Hoa Park

Van Hoa Park in Ho Chi Minh City was originally constructed as a recreational territory for the French. Now this park with its lush green foliage and affordable amenities, serves as a sports club for the common people in Saigon.

Van Hoa Park, the once elite sporting club of the city, attracts a great deal of attention from the school children and teenagers for its small topiary and carnival rides.

Besides its lush greenery, the park offers tennis courts, a swimming pool and table tennis courts. The Gym and weight room within the Cong Vien Van Hoa Park are very popular among the young Vietnamese. A French Colonial clubhouse in the middle of the park, reminds you of the days of French dominance. You can easily avail the wide range of amenities offered by Cong Vien Van Hoa Park, by spending no more than a dollar. It is mainly due to its affordable amenities that this park is so popular among the people of Ho Chi Minh City.

During the afternoon hours a lot of people can be seen taking naps on the park’s shady green carpet. Its location on the Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, in the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City, takes you far away from the hustles and bustles of City.
